Thank you, Tony. It’s a beautiful story, so richly woven and tangible, and a profound gift. We each have our moments that we can inhabit again in an instant, but I’ve not heard them so well written of, nor so meaningfully linked. The people we love and love us never leave us. That’s just the warm feeling needed to keep out the cold this time of year, so, again, my thanks.
I see the people in a family as a chain - something like a daisy chain - so the people who loved your grandmother were dead, but they come to you as part of the chain, through her.
Wow, Tony, you are one of the best writers I have ever met (heard).
I understand that you would be nervous about reading your own stories, because you know them from the inside, if you know what I mean, but looking at them from an objective perspective, they are as good as any of the authors you admire.
I suppose it always will be hard, but humility is probably better for a writer than hubris. Your writing will fall off if that happens, as we can see from famous writers before this. Truman
Capote for one.
I have done a little writing myself - NOT ghost stories! - and it's always felt like pulling my guts out.

Gorgeous story.
This is a beautiful and gentle story...love the notion that time remembers both past and future. Thank you so much!
