The Twisted Wood Well, it's the anniversary of the Podcast! The first episode The Yellow Wallpaper went up a year ago, and what a year it has been. The Podcast has succeeded far more than I ever thought. When I started I just wanted to read the stories I enjoyed. It seems that others enjoy them too.
Thank you :) Well, I am realising that I'm doing too much. I'm burning the candle at both ends because now I'm writing on Medium as well. If I didn't have to go to work... My aim would be to support myself by my writing. I usually get the idea for a story, sit and write it in two sessions. That's if it's only 3-4k words, which is typical. The longer ones take longer, like Gothica. Then I put it away. A couple of weeks later I come back and edit, then I put it away. I run it through Grammarly, then I do an audio version of it, and then I edit it again a week or so after that. That usually catches all the typos.
Congratulations! I really appreciate the humor running throughout this story. May you discuss your writing process in a future episode? You seem to churn out short-story collections at an incredible rate, considering the amount of time you must dedicate to producing this podcast.
