You don't have to apologize for the wail at the end. I loved the way that your voice trembled the way Chalmer's would have done. The wail at the end was absolutely in character.

I think it might have been Kafka who said that, the further the writer is going to take his readers, the more real the details of the story need to be.

I named my daughter 'Varda' from The Lord of the Rings and she likes it, even though the cretins in her elementary school teased her mercilessly.
